Free and Secure Trade Program (FAST) Commercial Travelers-Truckers in Charleston, SC
FAST is a program similar to Nexus for commercial travelers and truckers between the U.S. and Canada. Its purpose is to expedite cross country shipping with fewer delays. The FAST membership card is an alternative to a passport for U.S. and Canadian citizens. Permanent residents of both countries still need their passports.
Participants enjoy designated lanes, less transactional data, fewer delays and minimal documentation. FAST enrollment is conducted at the local FAST Enrollment Centre or by visiting the CBSA's website.
